From February 6 to 9, 2013, teams from across the globe will participate in various events including a 24-hour case deliberation and a day of presentations. These presentations will be held at Simon Fraser University’s downtown campuses – SFU Harbour Centre and Segal Graduate School of Business.
The case competition consists of 16 teams, each consisting of three undergraduate students (3rd, 4th, or 5th year) and a team coach or faculty advisor. Participants will have 24 hours to solve and present their team’s solution to a judging panel composed of industry professionals from our sponsor companies which range in a variety of firms.
The Team Fee is $500 CAD (per team of three students and one team coach or faculty advisor). Moreover, this fee covers all meals and transportation for CaseIT organized events, but does not include the cost of hotel accommodations.
Teams will be required to pay a $100 CAD non-refundable deposit that is due two weeks from the date of receiving conditional acceptance from the Preliminary Round.
Each additional team coach, faculty advisor, and/or observer will be $200 CAD.

Registration to compete in CaseIT 2013 will begin on September 24, 2012 at 9:00PM PST and will close on October 12, 2012 at 9:00PM PST. Registered teams are NOT guaranteed an invitation to CaseIT 2013 as entry to compete is on a Preliminary Case basis.
