A Change from Routine – CaseIT 2015

Planning is well underway to host the 12th annual CaseIT Management Information Systems case competition in February 2015. We are pleased to announce the following changes to CaseIT 2015:

  • The first noticeable change is our refreshed website. We want to ensure that we start the year off with a modern look that conforms to current web design standards. But, this is not the only change.
  • Dr. Kamal Masri – the judging facilitator at CaseIT 2014 – is to join us as a faculty advisor. Dr. Masri is also an accomplished instructor, winning the TD Canada Trust Distinguished Teaching Award in 2009, a MIS researcher focusing on systems development and design, and an esteemed case competition coach at the SFU Beedie School of Business. We are honoured to have him as an advisor for CaseIT 2015.
  • Last, but not least, amid ever changing business landscapes, we at CaseIT are expected to continue to organize an unparalleled, world-class event for competitors, sponsors, and all of our other valuable stakeholders. In order to do so, we are expanding the competition to twenty teams and changing to an invitational structure.
  • Additional changes to the competition format will be announced closer to the competition date.
