Harbour Centre

Harbour CentreSimon Fraser University’s downtown campus blends history with state-of-the-art educational facilities in one of Vancouver’s most famous landmark buildings. The creation of the downtown campus was a 10-year project pioneering mid-career education in Vancouver in the early 1980s. After the 24-hour deliberation period, sixteen universities will present their first round presentations here. They will unveil their alternatives and recommendations, showcasing their analytical and presentation skills to the CaseIT Judging Panel.

Segal Graduate School of Business

Segal Graduate School of BusinessThe Segal Graduate School of Business, located in Vancouver’s business district, delivers graduate management education and executive programs in a restored heritage building that facilitates discussion and interaction amongst professionals, academics, and students. The top four universities will be announced here and will present their recommendations for a second time to over 150 attendees, including the entire CaseIT Judging Panel, other university teams, university faculty, and external observers.

Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue

Morris J. Wosk Centre for DialogueWith CaseIT’s inception in 2004, Paul Cyr and Zephaniah Wong had the dream to hold the final round of presentations in Asia Pacific Hall of the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue. With CaseIT in its ninth year the dream has come to fruition. Comfortable in its arrangement as an open environment, the hall is home for interaction and dialogue. Asia Pacific Hall has hosted the heads of state, political leaders, deliberations, and private negotiations since opening in September 2000. It is a simply breathtaking and inspiring backdrop for CaseIT’s Discussion Panel.

Vancouver Convention Centre

Vancouver Convention CentreThe Corporate Function will be held at the new West Building at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Built in 2009, the objective of this new building was sustainability through such features as a living roof, on-site water treatment, and a fish habitat built into its foundation. In February 2010, the building received the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum, an international recognized green building certification, by the Canada Green Building Council. Most recently, the building was home to the International Broadcast Centre for the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Paralympics.
